PERSONALITY Outgoing, upbeat, and straight-forward, what you see of Kirishima in the first few minutes of meeting him is often what you get. This honest sort of earnestness is what allows him to get along with most people he meets or be some spectrum of insufferable to others. Kirishima values honesty, honor, strength, determination, and teamwork. In his world, he was a student at a prestigious school known for training professional superheroes. He carries that forward in a drive to protect and better the lives of others, especially those he considers friends. And he can find a friend in even some of the most surly individuals. Eijiro's philosophies can make him a bit naive, especially around people underhanded enough to exploit his good nature. He's not what you'd call the brightest bulb when it comes to academics, but he's a competent fighter even without his Quirk ( superpower ) and driven to keep himself in top form. As a Trainer, he fully believes in a partnership between himself and his Pokemon.

ONIX ♀ | -- OT: Kirishima Eijiro Level: 100 Type: Rock/Ground Ability: Sturdy ( It cannot be knocked out with one hit. One-hit KO moves cannot knock it out, either. ) Nature & Characteristic: Relaxed, Takes plenty of siestas Moveset: Tackle, Harden, Bind, Rock Throw, Smack Down, Rock Polish, Dragon Breath, Curse, Rock Slide, Screech, Sand Tomb, Stealth Rock, Slam, Sandstorm, Dig, Iron Tail, Stone Edge, Double-Edge Met at Union Cave (level 15) | 10/25/19 Kirishima was working out with Machop in Union Cave, lifting rocks, tossing rocks, punching rocks... and then Machop punched a rock that woke up a whole other series of rocks, forming the massive and irritated form of a napping Onix that shortly chased the two boys out of Union Cave. After settling down and licking their wounds, Kirishima and Machop decided they couldn't let things stand at a retreat and decided to follow the tunnel burrowed by the irate Onix. In entirely heroic and anime fashion, they challenged the Onix to a duel, which resulted in a pretty hard war of attrition before Kirishima captured the weakened creature. Onix is perpetually tired. She suffers no fools and is often very direct in her dealings with other Pokemon, be it battle or conversation. Currently she respects Kirishima's passion and appreciates his kindness, but she takes a lot of begging encouragement to work outside of the occasional battle. She only moves as a mount for food.
